Spring Break

San Antonio was our destination for spring break this year. We stayed at the Wild Oak Ranch and had an absolutely wonderful time. There is something so special about getting away and having time to just spend together and enjoy one another. On our first day, we spent the day at Sea World. It was a little chilly and rainy, but we just put our rain jackets on and went anyway. Thankfully, this kept the crowds away and we enjoyed getting to do most everything without a wait. I don't have any pictures from Sea World because I really didn't want to lug the camera around :). They did end up closing the park because the rain got heavy, but we just headed back to the hotel for some indoor (heated ) swimming. We spent the next day doing the IMAX, the riverwalk and then headed back to Sea World to do some of the rides. Sam rode his first roller coaster and was both terrified and elated at the same time. I was happy to let David experience that with Sam while Jacob and I played at the little kid area. On our final day, we just hung around the resort and did the lazy river, swam and played. We ended our mini-vacation by stopping at the rodeo on our way in. This was the first year that we've taken the boys into the actual rodeo part instead of just the livestock show. They really enjoyed seeing all of the animals and cowboys! We are so thankful for times like these where we get to just enjoy each other!
